This exhibition exemplifies the diverse approaches to Fine Art and Art & Design taken by students at the University of Worcester, where traditions of painting and printmaking are challenged in ways that sit comfortably alongside adventurous approaches to sculptural, installation and sound works.
Our move to The Garage at the start of this academic year has been both a challenge and an inspiration to our graduating students, the breadth and scale of whose work reflects not only their present achievements but also their ambitions as creative individuals of the future.
Our graduating art students have something in common – highly individual approaches to driving forward their creative ideas by means of distinctive visual languages that have developed during their time here. This is at the heart of what it means to study at Worcester and marks the beginning of an exciting future – both for these soon-to-be graduates and for art education at the University.
We would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of all the tutors, to congratulate the students and to wish them every success in the future. Well done!
