There is a long list of filmmakers that have inspired me and my work since I started making films: Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick and even someone more recent talents like Michel Gondry to name but a few. These directors have made their own mark on the film industry and you can also tell what they have put of themselves into their work.

So if the film is about a future-telling toaster, the life of Death himself, or simply a musician trying to relearn how to play a certain song, I always try to make sure that I put a part of myself into it.
