Having worked in the design industry for several years I returned to university to enhance my qualifications and increase my technical knowledge of photography.
The creative freedom that I have had in choosing subject matter, combined with the technical grounding gained, has been extremely beneficial. Being allowed to research projects in greater depth than is often possible commercially has been refreshing, renewing my creative vigour.
Focusing on ‘Value’ as a theme for my Independent Study I investigated the fundamentals of bold design utilsed within value brand packaging, evolving this work into a conceptual art piece.
